In the beating heart of one of NSW’s most storied gold towns, the Hill End Micro Pub was created with one simple purpose: to bring people together. What started as a spark of inspiration for our family has grown into a gathering place for locals, travellers, wanderers and curious souls seeking a true taste of small-town charm.
Housed within a beautifully restored 1870s gold-rush haberdashery, our Micro Pub blends the best of old-world character with the easygoing warmth of modern country hospitality. Downstairs, you’ll find honest food, cracking local wines and craft beers, and a friendly crew who welcome you like you’ve always been part of the Hill End story.
Upstairs, the charm continues. The Hill End Micro Pub accommodates up to 12 guests across seven heritage bedrooms, five queen rooms and two singles, making it ideal for couples, families, groups and retreats. Guests have access to two shared bathrooms and a separate toilet on the ground floor, with fresh bedding and towels provided for a comfortable stay. As we’re a heritage building, sound does travel… so you may hear music, laughter and chatter from the bar and restaurant below during opening hours. We always encourage you to join the fun, but if you prefer quiet evenings, please keep this in mind when booking.
