In the heart of an old NSW gold town, the Hill End Micro Pub was born. A place to gather, share stories and raise a glass. What began as a spark of inspiration for our family has become a warm, welcoming haven for locals, travellers and anyone chasing a taste of small-town charm.

Set inside a lovingly restored gold-rush building, the Micro Pub blends old-world character with relaxed, modern country hospitality. Think boutique, comfy rooms upstairs; honest food, great local wine and craft beer downstairs; and the kind of Hill End welcome that makes you feel like you’ve always belonged here.

Inspired by a love of good company, local flavour and the grit of this remarkable village, every pour honours the spirit of Hill End and the people who make it shine.

But the story is about more than food and drinks. We're passionate about creating opportunities in our tiny village, training young people, supporting emerging hospitality professionals, welcoming experienced crew back into the industry and building a workplace that feels more like family than a roster. Our team is the heart of everything we do, and we're incredibly proud of the people helping shape the next chapter of Hill End.

Proudly created by Hill End Experience Co, the local family venture of Cara and Casey and their twin boys, Archer and Ethan, seventh-generation Hill Endians, the Micro Pub is our way of breathing new life into one of the town's most iconic heritage spaces while helping create a vibrant future for the community we call home.

We're here to honour Hill End's past, celebrate its present and play a small part in shaping its future.
