The Hill End Micro Pub is housed in a beautifully restored 1870s heritage building. While its historic character is part of what makes our little pub so special, it also presents some accessibility limitations.

Here's a little helpful information to make planning your visit easier.

Accessibility & Inclusive Hospitality

The Hill End Micro Pub is housed in a beautifully restored 1870s heritage building, and while its historic character presents some accessibility limitations, we're committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable.

We're committed to making our venue as welcoming and accessible as possible.

• Wheelchair access: Our rear entrance provides level access to the main indoor bar and dining areas. 

• Bathroom facilities: Our interior bathroom can be accessed without steps, providing level entry. Please note that, due to the heritage nature of our building, the facilities do not fully meet modern accessibility standards.

• Outdoor seating: Accessible seating is available at the front of the pub, on the outdoor grassed area, weather dependent.

• Heritage considerations: Due to the age and design of the building, some areas may present accessibility challenges.

• Accommodation: Unfortunately, our upstairs heritage accommodation is not wheelchair accessible, as access is via a staircase. The shared bathroom downstairs also has accessibility limitations, including a shower over the bathtub, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Our friendly team is always happy to assist guests with additional accessibility requirements wherever possible.

If you have specific needs or would like to discuss access arrangements before visiting, please get in touch. We'll do everything reasonably possible to help make your experience comfortable and enjoyable.

Bringing Your Four-Legged Friend?

We love dogs and are happy to welcome well-behaved canine companions.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, dogs are welcome in our front outdoor areas only, including the seating area on our verandah and grassed area at the front of the pub.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in our beer garden, indoor pub spaces, accommodation rooms or other guest areas.

To keep everyone happy, we ask that all dogs:

• Remain on a leash at all times.

• Stay with their owner or handler.

• Are well-behaved and under effective control.

• Don't interfere with the comfort or enjoyment of other guests.

Assistance Animals

Accredited assistance animals are welcome in accordance with Australian law, including in areas where pet dogs are otherwise restricted.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, our team may request evidence that an animal is an assistance animal trained to support a person with a disability.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a safe, relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone, two-legged and four-legged alike!
